WebPurify EU/Swiss Privacy Shield and the GDPR

As of May 25, 2018 a new privacy law called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is in effect in the European Union (EU). The GDPR expands the privacy rights of EU individuals and places new obligations on all organizations that market, track, or handle EU personal data. WebPurify’s Data Processing Agreement and third-party vendor contracts meet the GDPR’s requirements.

WebPurify has annually certified its agreement to EU/US and Swiss Safe Harbor Frameworks since 2012. Since the Safe Harbor Frameworks have been replaced by the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, WebPurify has certified its agreement with these Privacy Shield Frameworks. See our Privacy Policy and our Privacy Shield Policy for more details.

It is important to know that WebPurify does not retain any of our customer’s digital content.
