October 29th, 2008 - WebPurify releases Movable Type Plugin.

WebPurify is happy to announce the release of the WebPurify profanity filter Movable Type plugin. This plugin allows Movable Type users to easily integrate the powerful WebPurify profanity filter web service into their blogs. The WebPurify plugin filters profanity from user comments and replaces the offending text with benign characters.

This release is a great addition to our growing list of plugins. Currently there are plugins for WordPress and Drupal with a phpBB module to be available by Spring 2009.

WebPurify has also announced that all licenses for use with its plugins are now $35 a year. All licenses include unlimited requests and no text length limits, setting WebPurify apart from the competition.

July 17th, 2008 - Chapter Three creates WebPurify module for Drupal CMS.

"The WebPurify module provides developers an easy to use interface to the WebPurify REST API. It also provides multiple filtering options using this interface, right out of the box. You have the option of blocking profane nodes/comments, replacing expletives upon submission (via input filter), or not doing any filtering at all. This module was developed by Chapter Three and sponsored by PBS as part of the PBS Engage project."
